We are busy, and we know that you are too--so we want to make this process as easy and convenient for you as possible! A good 50% of the people that ask about pricing and questions about tattoos never actually follow through with getting them done, which is totally fine--a tattoo is a big commitment to make, and sometimes has a hefty investment. However, most questions can be answered generally and most estimates can be given to save me some time in a busy work day and to save you a trip to the shop and some hours out of your life. If you have general questions that aren't answered throughout the website please feel free to add them in. A virtual consultation will be most beneficial and accurate if you have a solid understanding or idea of what you are looking to get. It is best to approach your tattoo, however, with an open mind, because your artist is trained to be able to upgrade and accentuate your idea to translate it best into art.
If you are one of those people that have no idea what they want, but know they want a tattoo and like my style, my best advice is to get on pinterest and type in very general search keywords, such as "male sleeve tattoo" or "girly hip tattoo" to generate some ideas. Once i get a feel for the style you like, i am best able to guide you in the best direction to conceiving an idea that will fill your expectations.
If you do know what you want, in order to best describe your tattoo so that i can understand, please be able to describe the size in an increment that is consistent (for example, my palm or finger may vary in size from yours--please use inch increments). Also, it is best sometimes to provide reference pictures to describe the type of style, detail or color you want in your tattoo. Reference pictures are great, and even if you have to compile several because you like individual things from individual pictures, that is fine too! Please be able to describe in detail that area you want your tattoo in. If it is not a flat area, you could best portray this by taking a picture of your "side" or "hip" and using a marker to section off where you want the tattoo to go, or using the pen tool in paint to outline the area. Whatever you can do to best convey your ideas to me will be very beneficial in receiving an accurate price quote.
If you do know what you want and want me to come up with something for you, i still need reference pictures to grasp what style of tattoo you are looking for. Pinterest and google are your best friends, you may be surprised what you come up with!
Before you submit this inquiry on a virtual consultation, please have read the different sections of the website to make sure any questions you may have aren't previously answered.
